ARMENTHA F. Johnson, age 65, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born Saturday, August 28, 1948 in Aiken, South Carolina. Memorial Services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 772 Whittier Street, Cincinnati (45229). A time to be born...On August 28, 1948 in Aiken, South Carolina, the daughter of John Brice and Mary Louise Roberson was born and named Armentha Fequeta Roberson. She was affectionately called 'Sam' A time to learn, live and love...Armentha received her education from the public school system in Hamilton County, Ohio, graduating from Withrow High School, class of 1968. Armentha furthered her education by attending Southern Ohio Business College and pursued a cosmetology license. On April 6, 1968 she gave birth to the love of her life, Dante L. Roberson Sr. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Charles Johnson. Armentha loved the Lord and was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Cincinnati, Ohio. Armentha was a warm and multi-talented spirit. She had a passion for art and beauty. She was interested in makeup all her life. These attributes led her to a career in the beauty industry as a makeup advisor and makeup artist. She was employed by Fashion Fair, Macys and Dillards. She was sought after in the beauty industry and known for her exceptional skills. Decorating was another one of her God given talents. She loved the oriental style as expressed in her home and fashion. She was called the 'Chinese Lady' and often looked like a China Doll herself with her clothing and makeup. Armentha was preceded in death by her father, John Brice Roberson; mother, Mary Louise Roberson; sister, Allena 'Nene' Hargrove; brother, Willie James Roberson Sr. and brother John. To cherish her memory she leaves: one son, Dante L. Roberson Sr. (Teresa); two grandchildren, Dante L. Roberson Jr. and Constance C. Roberson; two brothers and five sisters, James Henry (Diane) of Aiken, SC, Barbara J. Roberson, Tonietta Roberson, Evelyn Roberson, Arlette Jones (Stephon) of St. Louis, MO, Roselyn Roberson and Diano 'Doug' Roberson (Natalie); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, goddaughter Alecia Spencer and best friend Deborah Zimmerman.
