IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ardella Denise
Campbell
December 21, 1965 – November 26, 2023
Ardella Denise Campbell December 21, 1965 - November 26, 2023
Ardella Denise Campbell, age 57, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was born on December 21, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Deborah (Campbell) Everett and Dave Stephens. She entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 26, 2023, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She accepted Christ at an early age and a few months before her death, she had planned to rededicate her life to Christ through baptism. Ardella aka Star Child aka Nisey loved to help people. She worked as a machine operator and even helped with property turnover in several downtown locations.
Ardella was a regular at Mary Magdalen House and was known and loved by the Over-the-Rhine community. She worked at finding a place where she could live with her dog through Found House (previously Interfaith Hospitality Network). Her best advice is to never give up and to look for resources that are available. She realized that she had to take care of herself first in order to help others.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dave Stephens; uncles, Dwight Campbell, Carlos Campbell and Myron Campbell.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah (Campbell) Everett; siblings, Melissa Jackson, Melinda Jackson, Robert Jackson, Eric Jackson and Kevin Brock; aunts, Lavieena Campbell, Gordella Campbell, Yolanda campbell; numerous cousins, including her favorites, Lovelia Davis and Donnie Campbell; numerous nieces and nephews, including Selebraty, Tonisha, Amir, Ameen, Jawanda and Shay-Shay, and Erica; a great great nephew; God mother to Shalonda and Virgil Amison, Nate Calhoun and Kareem Fairbanks; her life-long friend, Doreen Amison; friends, too many to list and her dogs, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin aka "Stonie" and Cinnamon.
Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the House of Hope, 1829 Elm Street , Cincinnati (45202). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
