Anthony Terrell (Terry) Williams was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 25, 1961, to the late Jewel T. Green and the late James E. Williams. Terry was preceded in death by his sister Bonita J. Green and brother Duane Green.

Terry, also known as "Big Bird" to his friends, was a warm and friendly person; he did not meet a stranger. When sitting on his porch, he would wave and call out "hey buddy" to his neighbors as they walked by or drove past in their cars. Terry had a special fondness for older people and children. His close friend was Fred, who he had known since his teenage years. When they began to drive and had access to a car, they would drive all over. They never had gas money, so, their first stop was to one of his sisters to borrow $5.00. Back then, you could ride all day on $5.00.

Terry was an excellent cook. He was especially known for his Great Northern Beans and Cornbread! He loved to barbeque, as well and he did his ribs proud. When a young man, still living at home, his family never had to worry about a meal, because he would always have a meal ready in the evening.

Terry loved plants and would try to "rip off" plants from his sister’s house. He had a favorite plant which he named "Twig", found by his son in the street. He nurtured that plant, and it’s still growing.

Through a study of God's Word, the Bible, Terry learned about the earth being restored to a Paradise in the future. He also knew the condition of the dead. He would say "They are just resting", and so is our dear Terry at this time. We as his family and friends look forward to seeing him again in the New World to come.

Terry is survived by his sons Channing (Imari) Evans, Ceyon Evans, grandchildren Jeremiah, and Caelyn Evans, stepdaughters Amore and Amani Evans. Siblings, Darla (Allen), Yvette Williams, Dion Williams and Sonya Williams. Aunts Zadie Williams and Mary Jane Booker. Best friends Bobby Cummings and the Cavanaugh family, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be missed by all.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm, on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The memorial service will begin at 2:30 pm.
