Obituary

Anthony James Roseberry was born June 23, 1952; celebrated by loving parents Elsie Bailey Cox and Clifford Roseberry. The two later welcomed a second son,  Clifford into the world. Due to the untimely death of Clifford Sr., Elsie married Thomas Cox, resulting in the family growing to include five more siblings.

Anthony graduated from Taft High School in 1970. His first son who is also named Anthony was born on February 28, 1972. Driven to take care of his son, Anthony sought employment and was hired by the City of Cincinnati's Highway Maintenance Division. He was later transferred to Riverfront Stadium where his journey of life began to transcend. He was assigned tasks in which he had limited knowledge in troubleshooting, but adversity would not prevent him from acquiring the following skillsets: plumber, electrician, carpenter and mason. He also had the pleasure of escorting musicians for the annual Jazz Festival across the field to the performance stage. He joined the United States Marines in 1976 in which he was honorably discharged. Upon returning home, Anthony resolved that he had much larger aspirations in life, He acquired employment as a Press Operator through Standard Register Label Division. A reliable car was a necessity, and the car he would purchase had to be beyond basic - a toy. He purchased an orange Camaro which he considered a showcase vehicle compared to his previous '98 bronze Buick. His love of cars and that orange Camaro was evident.

Anthony joined Immanuel Lutheran Church and he was a "faithful" member. He performed maintenance responsibilities within the church until the duties became too difficult to complete. The church members loved him, especially the elderly women. He would always assist them with walking, holding the door for them or a simple smile and conversation.

In his parting Anthony leaves behind his wife, Marion Allman-Roseberry; father, Thomas Cox; sister,  Cora Clay (Michael); brothers: Clifford Roseberry, (Teresa), Thomas Cox Jr. (Dorothy), Vejer Cox (LaTasha), Tyrone Cox, and Ronnie Cox (Tina); brother in law, Gary Allman (Thelma); sister in law, Carol Walker (Clarence); sons: Anthony Woodson (Alberta) and David Roseberry; and Richard Allman. He leaves hope and wisdom for all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He leaves behind wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
