Obituary

Anthony Wayne Crutchfield was born December 5th, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Rev. Howard G. and Jean (Grant) Crutchfield. He was the sixth child (the baby boy) out of seven children born to this blessed union.

Anthony grew up in "The Sub" of West College Hill and attended North College Hill High School. He served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was an Expert (Rifle M-16) and an Expert (M-60 MG). He earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Combat Infantryman Badge.

Anthony worked for Ford Motor Company and Walker Funeral Home.

Anthony aka "Ant-Nee, Tony, Butch, Duke, Athlete, Soldier, Veteran, Boxer, Comedian" was a man of many hats. A man who believed in being responsible for and taking care of his family. He spoke his mind, had a great sense of humor, and kept his family and friends laughing all the time. He will be greatly missed by many. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Rev. Howard G. and Jean Crutchfield; his brothers, Deacon Howard G. Crutchfield, Jr., Curliss Crutchfield, and William Douglas Crutchfield and his sons, Darryl Snow and Charles Mack. Anthony departed this life on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his eternal memories: his sons, Anthony Jamod Clark, Ronald Mack and Paul Snow; his daughters, Tori Snow and Crystal Snow; his sisters, Carol Ann Cooper, Mary Beverly Young, and Valenda Deveraux; his sister-in-law, Roberta Crutchfield, a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Second Baptist Church of West College Hill, 6225 Betts Avenue, Cincinnati  (45224).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428. Pallbearers will be Anthony Clark Sr., Ronald Mack, Darrell Crutchfield, Anthony Clark Jr., Jordan Boyd, Samuel Crutchfield, Malcolm Crutchfield, Darius Gallagher, and Devin Gallagher.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask.
