Annie M. Johnson passed December 9, 2013. Funeral service 12 noon on Saturday, December 14 at Renew Community Church, 2129 West North Bend Road, Cincinnati. Visitation 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment Vine Street Hill Cemetery. Annie M. Johnson (nee Gaston) was born May 10, 1929 in McDonough, Georgia. She transitioned into eternal rest on December 9, 2013. Ann was the daughter of the late Willie C. and Mary Crockett Gaston. She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio during her teenage years. She completed her education and was employed for many years at Cincinnati Milacron until her illness required her retirement. Ann was the loving and faithful wife of the late Robert Johnson. She loved God and life to the fullest. She was a faithful member of The Renew Community Church and Executive Assistant to Pastor Charles Winburn for 26 years. There was never anyone that she met who was affected by her wonderful personality, humor and extreme kindness. She diligently worked in the community from PTA to working with City Counsel, election teams, Neighborhood Watch and Improvement. She was well known and well loved by all. A woman of style, class and grace. A child of God, Ann had great faith and believed that we could do anything through Christ and that God's will was God's will. She leaves to cherish her memory, celebrate her life and continue her legacy of love: her daughters, Minister Jacqueline White (Milton), Deborah Lewis (Jerome) and Michelle Coulter (Edward); son, Kenneth Johnson (Lynette); grandchildren, Tracey Campbell, Kimberly Riley, Taheerah Mills, Bianca and Baronica Brooks, Michael A. Gaston (Dawanda), James E. Dawson (Malinda), Donald A. White (Ronesha), Angela, Resia and Alisa Johnson; great-grandchildren, Anessia, Shawn, Eric and Destiny Campbell, Brittany Tribble, Kearra, Kimia, Brianna and Faith Riley, DaQuan, Anthony, Aniyah, Jamel and Jacory Brooks, Jaelen Flack, Jaemir, Jaeden and Jaevon Whitefield, Janiiyah Mills; sisters, Gloria and Joyce Gaston, Shirley Stillwell; brothers, Robert Poole, David, Michael and Joseph Gaston. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Johnson; parents, Willie and Mary Gaston; daughter, Beverly Brooks, grandson, Joseph White and great-grandson, Juwan White.
