Annie M.
Gilreath
March 13, 1932 — September 22, 2026
Cincinnati, OH
Annie Maud Gilreath was born on March 13, 1932, in the Nashville/Murfreesboro, Tennessee area, to Mary Lee Gilreath and Robert Lyons, both of whom preceded her in death.
Annie lived a beautiful life filled with family, friendship, faith, service, and wonderful experiences. After a long and dedicated career, she retired from Bethesda Oak after 42 years of service as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Her commitment to helping others was a meaningful part of her life and the legacy she leaves behind.
Annie was a faithful member of Gaines United Methodist Church. She enjoyed life and believed in making memories. She loved to travel and bowl and was a proud member of the Les Birdies Golf Club.
One of Annie's greatest joys was friendship. She cherished her special group of girlfriends, who remained an important part of her life through the years. Their tradition of gathering for lunch continued, creating treasured memories filled with conversation, laughter, and friendship.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lee Gilreath Scott and Robert Lyons; her brother, Robert Lee Gilreath; and her beloved son, Willie S. Gilreath Sr.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter-in-law, Queen Gilreath; grandchildren, Tosha Hill (Kevin), Amanda Gilreath, Willie S. Gilreath Jr. (Nicole); and Godson, Marc Berry.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Darius (Ali), Jasmine, Kortney, Kevin Jr., Makayla, Davohn, Sa’Leise (Frank), Damonta, Jason Jr., Raina and Jiar; and her six great-great-grandchildren.
Annie also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, church family, and all whose lives were touched by her presence.
On September 22, 2026, Annie peacefully transitioned in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the comfort of her home, with her granddaughter by her side. Annie's life spanned more than nine decades, and those years were filled with love and memories that will continue to live in the hearts of those who loved her.
Though her earthly journey has ended, her love and legacy will continue through the generations she leaves behind.
Rest peacefully, Annie. You were deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
