Anna Powell was born on July 17, 1951 in Mason, West Virginia.  She was raised by loving parents Joseph E and Birdie (nee Gibson) Powell.  Anna was educated in Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Withrow High School, after which she began a career in the medical profession and retiring from Mercy Health after 40 years of service.  Anna joined St. Mark Methodist Church now New Vision United Methodist Church and became a faithful member and as a result, her mother also joined the church.  Anna joined the Usher Board Ministry and enjoyed giving assistance to the elderly.  She faithfully participated in the Women of Vision Ministry and attended the weekly prayer and praise service.  She loved praising the Lord.  Anna was a loving, caring and generous person, always having a sunny disposition and an encouraging word.  Anna did not meet any strangers!  She would make a delicious sour cream pound cake and she was likely to bless you with one.  Anna loved to golf and was a member of the Les Birdies Golf Club.  She also loved to travel.  She leaves to mourn her sisters, Sherry Powell and Sally (Roger) Justice and devoted friend, Elaine Hubbard and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral Services at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at New Vision United Methodist Church, 4400  Reading Road, Cincinnati, 45229.
