Anna Mae Meadows was born on November 27, 1914 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the proud parents of the late Tom Thompson and Ethel Walker. She was granted her angel wings on Monday, November 11th 2013 and her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Anna was baptized at Zion Baptist church and was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system, where she later graduated from East Side High School. Anna united in marriage to Leonard Larkin Meadows Sr. on January 8th, 1930 and to this union they were blessed with three sons and two daughters. Anna was actively involved in the Eastern Stars Lodge where she served as secretary for many years. Anna also enjoyed reading and laughing, but most of all spending time with her family. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years and two of her sons Ronald T. Meadows and Jerry A. Meadows. Anna leaves to cherish her memory: her two daughters, Barbara L. Rogers, Patricia A. Lane; one son, Leonard L. Meadows Jr.(Bernadine Meadows); 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Still living in the hearts of those she touched... for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday, November 18 at FIRST ANTIOCH BAPTIST CHURCH, 1511 Gilpin Avenue (Corner of Gilpin and Victory Parkway ), Walnut Hills. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m until time of service. Interment Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
