Anna Mae Lee, loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend died September 23, 2020.

Anna was born on November 10, 1953 in Cincinnati, OH to John and Myrtle McElligott (Nee: Robb). Anna is survived by her son Roger Lee (Tanya), her sisters Mary Hale and Sandy Mueller, grandchildren Jessica Hess, Chelsy Hess, Austin Lee, Sabrina Lee, Britney Lee, Elijah Lee and Xavier Lee as well as several great grandchildren, brother-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Myrtle, and her brother Thomas McElligott.

Anna Lee graduated from Western Hills High School in 1972 and was later employed by the Hamilton County Department of Jobs and Family Services (HCJFS) where she worked for 30 years in various capacities until she retired in September, 2015. She loved working at HCJFS and helping the families that she would meet over the years. She was well respected by her supervisors and co-workers and well liked by the families that she served. She was also a faithful member of the Delhi Christian Center congregation for over 40 years and worshipped under the loving guidance of Pastor Bruce Hensley. She loved God and faith and family were everything to her.

Anna Lee was a wonderful and caring person. She was a friend to everyone she met. She could also be a second mother and later in life a loving "Granny" to all those she came into contact with. She never ceased to offer love and encouragement to anyone that needed it, regardless of how she may have been feeling.

I am beyond blessed to be able to call Anna Lee my Mother! Your many sacrifices and your loving guidance and your unceasing prayers I will carry with me for the rest of my life! I love you Mom!

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Monday, October 5, 2020, at the Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery - New , 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
