Anita Brenda (Thomas) Mealor 'Fattie/Santana', age 53, departed this life on February 2, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 30, 1961, to the union of late Lloyd M. and Egella D. (Larkins) Thomas which preceded her in death. Anita was one of six children. She attended Hughes High School, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Anita confessed Christ at an early age. She was married to Raymond Bryant at an early age (later divorced) to which they had one son Raymond Jr.; she also had another son Khalid Roman (Jeffery Jones). As an adult she married Harold L. Mealor, who preceded her in death. Anita lived life to the fullest, whether helping others, playing jokes, making someone laugh, cooking a meal, or having a cookout at the drop of a hat. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. She was a loving person to all whose path she crossed. If you needed a place to stay her door was always open. Fattie worked several jobs, last being Our Daily Bread on Race Street. On February 2nd, 2015, a light went out here on earth but only to shine in heaven, she will be forever missed and remembered by all whose lives she touched. She leaves to cherish in her memory two sons Raymond Kevin Airius Bryant Jr. (Sarah), Khalid Roman Bryant, five grandchildren: Sandrafaye Denise Bryant, Chandlyr Airius Bryant, Amaya T. Harris, Khalid Roman Bryant, King Roman Bryant. Four sisters: Lloyd Jean Williams of San Antonio Texas, Patricia Beard (Clyde), Alfretta C. Peak, Annetta L. Thomas of Cincinnati, Ohio and one brother Steven Von Thomas of San Antonio, Texas. Long time companion Robert Phillips, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Walker Funeral Home - Reading Road Chapel , 3939 Reading Road , Cincinnati (45229) with visitation from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
