Angela J. Sutton was born on May 11, 1961, in Annapolis, Maryland, to the union of Norman D. Blankenship and Laura Louise Blankenship. She was one of six children blessed to that union. Angela was preceded in death by her beloved mother.

She grew up in Mt.Healthy, where she graduated from Mt. Healthy High School and later furthered her education at Central State University.

On July 5, 1986, Angela married the love of her life, James Sutton Jr. Together they shared 39 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. To their union, three children were born.

Angela dedicated her life to her family and found joy in many pursuits. She had a natural eye for style and was known far and wide for her ability to bargain hunt and find the best deals. Shopping, traveling, roller skating, karaoke, dancing, attending concerts, and interior design filled her life with color and energy. She was kind, generous, modest, and loving, never meeting a stranger and leaving everyone she encountered with warmth. Her distinct laugh matched the joyful spirit she carried into every room.

On July 1, 1989, Angela symbolized her dedication to Jehovah through water baptism. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she loved sharing the good news about God's Kingdom both publicly and from house to house. Angela loved people, but her desire to please Jehovah was even greater. She had strong faith in God's purpose for mankind and eagerly looked forward to its fulfillment, especially the resurrection hope in the near future.

Her love for Jehovah moved her to serve as a Regular Pioneer beginning in September 2018. She continued as a full-time minister until December 2023, a privilege she cherished deeply. Even during her illness, Angela never stopped encouraging others, sharing Bible truths with those who were suffering as she was. Her zeal for the truth shone as brightly as her personality.

Angela was devoted to her family. She adored her three grandchildren, who affectionately called her "NaNa." She embraced every moment of being a grandmother with pride and joy, making sure they always felt her love.

Angela leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, James Sutton Jr.; her children, James Sutton III, Kambria J. Biggom (Jon), and Jivarey A. Sutton; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Biggom, Skylor Biggom, and James Sutton IV. She is also survived by her father, Norman D. Blankenship; her siblings, Myron Blankenship, Connie Kay, Monica Magette, Terri Montgomery (Marlon), and Sherri Jones; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her extended spiritual family whom she loved dearly.

Angela's life was a reflection of faith, love, and service. She lived with purpose and dignity, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy will continue in the hearts of her family, her friends, and her spiritual brothers and sisters.

Visitation is from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm, on  Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness,  2044 West Kemper Road, Forest Park  (45240).   The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 5:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
