Andrew Lemar Smith, son of Andrew Nelson and the late Diane Smith was born on December 31, 1981, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2020, at his home in Amelia, Ohio. He is survived by his four children Byron Smith, Mariah Smith, Trenton Smith, and Aubree Smith, his former wife Alyssa Smith, his brother Darnell Nelson and his sister Tiersa Nelson.

Andrew was a loving, dedicated, and devoted father who loved life. Anyone that knew him, knew that his children were most important in his life. He always made sure they had everything they needed plus a little extra.

Andrew always seemed to spread love and joy wherever he went. His loving nature and generosity impacted so many people in his life. He lived by a few principles. First, was the Golden Rule; treating others as you want to be treated. And second, to let go and not worrying about the things out of your control. He never wanted people to allow the obstacles of life to weigh them down or to stress them out.

The memories shared with Andrew will be forever cherished and his presence will be deeply missed!

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on  Friday, August 28, 2020, at the Walker Funeral Home - McMILLAN STREET CHAPEL, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 4:00 pm.
