Andre J. Chiara of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed from this life on November 2nd, 2026, at the age of 80. Andre was born on January 3rd, 1946, in King City, California.

Andre graduated from El Capitan High School in 1965. Andre, like many young people of that era, was captivated by the popular culture of his day. He experienced the Hippie culture of San Francisco and ground zero of Haight-Ashbury, which captured the essence of a generation. His interest in music and production was with him all of his life, and he found jobs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during the early 70s that gave him the experience of being around bands and musicians that became major cultural influences while he was there. 

Moving to Cincinnati, Ohio, changed many things in his life; family was a major part of that, but the other major part of his life was finding Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Many congregations around Cincinnati were attended by Andre, and his intentions with the Lord never changed; he always loved the name of Jesus, and the hope that he now has realized in Christ. 

Andre leaves behind his much-loved son, Joshua John Chiara of Los Angeles, California; his former wife and mother of Joshua, Jeanne Marie Flaherty Helmkamp of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Timothy Chiara of California and Anthony Chiara of Hawaii; as well as two sisters, Valentina Chiara of California and Kristen Chiara of Hawaii. 

Andre was preceded in death by the passing of his parents, his father Albino Chiara and his mother, Sophie Jeanette Chiara. Andre will always be loved by his family, and by his Church family, City On A Hill, and many friends who he has been such a blessing to because of the love of Christ that he wished to share. 

Visitation and service in memory of Andre will be Saturday, November 7th, 2026, beginning at 2 PM for visitation, with service immediately after, beginning at 3 PM, at City On A Hill, 5190 Glencrossing Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
