Amie Abston, age 50, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away on April 18, 2026. She was born on February 18, 1976, in Ironton, Ohio.

Amie will be remembered for her gentle spirit and her appreciation for life’s simple beauties. She had a deep love for gardening and took great joy in nurturing flowers, finding peace in their growth and beauty. She also enjoyed spending quiet moments with a good book, where she could reflect and escape into stories that brought her comfort.

In her later days, Amie found her faith and drew closer to God, bringing a sense of hope to those who knew and loved her. It is with that faith that her family finds comfort, trusting she has now found peace.

Amie is survived by her children, including her beloved son, Garret Abston, along with four other children who carry her memory in their hearts. She is also survived by extended family members and loved ones who will cherish the moments they shared with her.

Though her journey in life had its challenges, she remained deeply loved. Her family holds on to the hope that she is now at rest and surrounded by grace.

A private remembrance will be held by the family at a later time.
