"To Honor His Life" Alvin Bruce Edwards (1940-2015) Alvin B. Edwards, (75) of Cincinnati, Ohio departed this life on December 3, 2015. Born April 12, 1940 to John and Anna Edwards (Liscomb-Anna Maiden), Alvin accepted the Catholic faith at an early age and faithfully served at St. Marks Catholic Church for a number of years. Alvin was an admired member of the local chapter Knight of Columbus. Humbly, he retired from Jewish Hospital (Clifton) after many years of loyal service. He was preceded in death by his parents John Edwards Sr. and Anna Edwards. Alvin is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years to Lucille Edwards (Dillard-Lucille Maiden); son, Alvin B. Edwards Jr; sisters, Blanchye, (Deceased), Laura, Gwendolyn, and brother, John Edwards Jr.; grandchildren, Nakeshia, Tearis, Truvon, Rodney and Briana; great grandchild, DeMarcus; and a host of other family members and friends. In honor of his life memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, in care of the Bethesda Foundation. The graveside service and blessing of his final resting place will be at St. Mary's Cemetery – St. Bernard, at 701 E. Ross Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45217 immediately following the funeral service.
