Alonzo Anderson was born in Nashville, Tennessee on August 28, 1948 to Madeleine (nee Booker) and Alonzo Anderson.  He was the second youngest of five siblings.

He enjoyed baking.  It was more than a hobby, it was his passion.  He was also a skilled painter in residential and commercial painting.  A valuable trade that was passed on to his nephew, Donald when he was fifteen years old and still utilizes to this day.

Alonzo was love by all his nieces and nephews.

Alonzo was the last survivor of his siblings.  He was preceded in death by: his parents, Madeleime and Alonzo Anderson and his siblings, William Anderson, Donald Anderson, Hollis Anderson and Ernet Anderson.

Alonzo departed this life on Thursday, February 10, 2022

He leaves to cherish his memories: nieces and nephews, Love Anderson, Shawn Anderson and Donad Gene Anderson, Jr.; great nieces, Iesha Brown, Saidah Rembert & Donisha Robbins; great nephews, Donald Gene Anderson, III, Divine Anderson, Daiyon Anderson and Donte Grant, eight great-great nieces and nephews and he also leaves Cathy Jones and her children whose lives he was in for over fifty years

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
