On April 14, 2021, Allyson M. Bright loving mother of two passed away at the age of 62. She was born on March 20, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Irving C. and Marlene M. Bright.

Allyson was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and instilled in her sons strong values that have served them well. Allyson had a passion for volunteering, reading, and helping others in any way she could. Allyson will always be admired for her strong will, determination, and compassion.

She earned her Associate's Degree in Management Information Systems from Cincinnati State. She earned her B.S.B.A. in Information Systems from Xavier University making the Dean's List twice and receiving the John F. Niehaus Award. Allyson was currently following her passion for helping children and was in the process of finishing her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis at the University of Cincinnati.

Allyson worked for the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati for 25 years. She spent the past two years as a substitute teacher.

Her father Irving C. and her mother Marlene M preceded Allyson in death. She is survived by her two children: Jayson and Jordan; her granddaughter Jaylin; her sister Michelle; her brothers: Vincent and Woody; her niece Havana and her nephew Mykal; beloved cousins Kim Dabney, Joy and Jane Davis, special friends Jean Pharr, Liz Walker, Necey Brock, Theresa Williams, and her Belgian Malinois Sammy B. and Bullet. Allyson also leaves behind a host of loving cousins, relatives, and longtime friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Friday, April 23, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
