Alisha Chandler was born February 14, 1957, to the late J.C. and Vivian Chandler. Having been born on Valentine's Day she was truly a genuine loving person, to all who she came in contact with. Alisha graduated from Princeton High School in 1976. She went on to attend Central State University. Alisha started her career at Proctor and Gamble as a Program Operator. She went on to work at State Farm Insurance as an Executive Secretary for over 10 years. She met and married Jessie Thomas in 1984. Alisha loved to cook and feed the "Neighborhood". She was extremely crafty and often made gifts of love for her family and friends. She enjoyed bingo and the casino but mostly she loved spending time with her family and "Special "cousin Laconia Hunter Bouldin. She was a charismatic, kind hearted and giving person and would often sacrifice her last to anyone in need. When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when though walketh through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Alisha was known and loved by all who encountered her. She was preceded in death by sister Annette Chandler Parrish (2010) She leaves to cherish her loving memories; 7 Children, Niesha, Genetta (Co-Co), Shane, Shala, Jaleel, Keyaira and Jayda. 10 Grandchildren, Saniah, Scott, Amauri, Adrianna, Shane Jr., Cameron, Carter, DeMarco, Navaeh and Aliyah. 2 Sisters, Leakeather (Keedy) Meeks, and Daphanie (Kookie) Chandler Blackwell (Marvin) both of Cincinnati, OH.One Aunt Charity O'Neal (Tommie) One Uncle James Henry (Christine) both of Cincinnati, OH. One Great Aunt Julie Smith, of Cincinnati, OH., and God Daughter Renee Floyd. And a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation is from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the Ebenezer Second Baptist Church, 10054 Dixie Court, Cincinnati (45215).
