Obituary

Alfred Walker McCaster, son of the late John and Lucretia McCaster was born on the 28th of March 1936 in Livingston Alabama. He answered the calling of his Master on January 3, 2018. His daughter Harriet Stalling preceded him in death. Alfred, also known as "Plum" by his family and friends, was a loving person. He truly loved the Lord and was a devoted Deacon at his church, Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, until his health failed. He loved golf and music. Alfred worked at Beekman Foundry for many years and also worked for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). In 1961, he was united in holy matrimony to the late Emma Lou McCaster, which was a blessed and happy union until she passed. Alfred leaves to cherish his memory and life, his son, Harold Kelly; brothers, Johnnie Lee McCaster and Earnest McCaster. He is also survived by grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to his cousin, Mrs. Gwendolyn O'Banion (Raymond), for the many years of continued love and care given to "Plum".
