Alex Yakimovich, beloved father of Jimmie Walden (Cathy), Dionna Benick (Chris), and Angela Miller (James); caring grandfather to Jeremy, Jake, Ben, Steven, Matthew, Dillon, Kenny, Cody, Zachary, Tawny, Lexy and Elijah; proud great-grandfather to Kayleigh, Emmalyn, Wesley and Bryson; passed away peacefully on February 12, 2018 at the age of 81 surrounded by his family. Alex's most cherished times were those shared with his family. Alex enjoyed watching Cincinnati Reds baseball as well as Bengals, Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State football. He also enjoyed watching country music videos, Lifetime movies, Wheel of Fortune and playing Cash Explosion scratch off tickets. Alex is fondly remembered by many as the "chili" man after having owned and operated Art's Chili Kitchen in Madisonville, Ohio for 30+ years. Alex will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Walker Funerals & Cremations - Butler County, 532 S. Second Street, Hamilton (45011). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens , 2145 Compton Road, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
