Daughter of the late Reece and Everlena Williams Williams, she departed this earthly life on January 13, 2014. Alberta professed her faith in Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lockland, Ohio under the ministry of the late Rev. Mitchell C. Coleman. Later in her life, she joined Zion Temple First Pentecostal Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Jasper Phillips. Alberta was a graduate of the Lockland Public School system. She was employed for many years as a domestic housekeeper. She enjoyed reading, dancing, music, and the teaching of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Alberta was united in marriage to the late William Latham. To this union they were blessed with three children. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Williams and five sisters, Smithie Patterson, Jessie Gibbs, Alzadia Shaw, Daisy Dyer and Rosalyn Williams; a son and daughter, Thomas Dwight Williams and Jacqueline Denise Latham. She leaves to cherish her memory: Michael Latham (Marie), a very special daughter, Bonnie; one brother, Earl Williams (Opal) of Indianapolis, Indiana; three sisters, Juanita Malone, Ora and Cora Williams; grandchildren, Eric, Micole, Antionette, Tiffany, Briana, Terrence (Ce'Nedra), Trevelyan (Janice), and a host of nieces, nephews, five great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
