AJILE LOUIS TURNER 1971 - 2009 Ajile Louis Turner, age 38, passed away on September 18, 2009 in Brooklyn, NY. Ajile was the CEO and founder for Echelon Group, an independent concert production company based in New York City. Ajile` had extraordinary gifts that endeared him to many. He carried with him an aura of peace, wisdom and calmness. Those virtues allowed him to bring warmth into crowded rooms. In a quiet and unheralded manner, he led an exceptional life of service to the under served. His sensitivity to the feelings of others instilled a desire to bring happiness to all. Forever the optimist, Ajile` shared his knowledge and sense of values by always looking for the best in all situations. He was a wonderful storyteller with an unbelievable passion for life and all it had to offer. Aside from the many people he loved, he enjoyed music, traveling, surfing, snowboarding, water skiing, and sky diving. Born August 17, 1971 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Mattie Lee and Russell Turner. A gifted student, he attended Summit Country Day School and graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1989. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Tennessee State University in 1993. While still in college, his creative personality and strong business acumen led him to produce and promote music events, a business in New York, which he found great success. He leaves to celebrate his life and grieve his passing, his loving and devoted mother and grandfather, his cousins; L. Denise (Ed) Jones, E. Lionel Edwards, Sherlyn D. Beason, Lonnie Rashid Lynn (Common), Bianca T. Thompson and a host of treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2009 at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3655 Harvey Street, Cincinnati 45229. (Phone 513-281-3251 ). Pastor Rev. Donald E. Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2009.
