Ms. Norma Jean Flint-Banks, was born July 1, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the 1st child of seven children. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Flint; her parents James and Ida Mincy. She was later united in Holy Matrimony to Ernest Lee Banks.
Norma devoted her life to Christ at an early age at Rockdale Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Benson. She was born and raised in the West End and attended Cincinnati Public Schools where she graduated from Robert A. Taft.
Norma dedicated more than 22 years at Jewish Hospital at a position she loved. She departed there for medical reasons. Norma was a past member of St. John Chapter #25.
She leaves not to mourn, but rather to cherish her precious memories: her loving and devoted husband, Ernest Lee Banks; one son Troy Carpenter (Kenyatta), and nine grandchildren, Mikiyah, Troy, Skyla Rae, Khamylah, Treshawn, Demarcus, Terrell, Keyemani, Khorie, sisters, Avis (Leonard), Deborah (Darryl), Gina and Tamara; brothers, Kelvin (Kim), Reginald (Gina), and James (Sheila); nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
