Nathaniel Duke Pitts was born on February 24, 1946 in Cincinnati Ohio by the late Dolores And Daniel Pitts. Duke was known to be a Ladies Man. Duke loved to play sports like Basketball and Baseball. While Duke was in school, he was offered a scholarship for Baseball but unfortunately he had to turn it down to help his mother with his siblings. Duke was more than a brother; he was the household father figure. With the responsibilities of growing up fast, Duke never complained about anything.
In his teenage years, he met his high school sweetheart/wife, the late Judy Ann Baskin. Their love for each other lasted over 50 years. Duke always was a very handsome man with a great personality. With a warm smile and great jokes, you would quickly love Duke for who he was. He was known to bring humor to any situation in life to get a smile instead of a frown. He was a family man, a husband, a father and a grandfather.
Duke leaves to mourn: his daughter, Tania Baskin; his sisters, Diane Pitts, Debra Pitts, Mamie Pitts, Regina (Pitts) Smith, Tosha (Pitts) Davenport, Angie (Pitts) Roberts, Sandra Pitts and Diana Pitts; his brothers, Troy Pitts and Dan Pitts; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law that also played a great part in his life, Karen Baskin, Michelle Baskin, Jennifer Baskin, Bridgett Baskin, David Baskin, Eric Baskin and Freddie Baskin; Duke’s granddaughters, Taniya Baskin and Myaire Wynn. Duke also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
