Marilyn Brown Obituary

Marilyn Eva Frazier-Brown was born July 15, 1950 to the late Eddie and Donnie Ruth Frazier in Cincinnati, Ohio. She departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was known to her family and friends as "Tobbie". She was the third child of 9 siblings; one sibling, Regina, preceded her in death.

She attended and graduated from Withrow High School. Tobbie confessed Jesus Christ at an early age and attended New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of different Pastors; the last was Pastor Robert Mills. She was a member of the choir. Tobbie was married to the late William Brown Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children, William (Renee), Toshia and Damon; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; her remaining siblings, Mickey (Mary), Linda, Larry, Carol, Gail (Charles) Shirley and Gloria (the late Dean); and a host of many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tobbie was loving, caring and hilarious. Even in her bad days, she still exhibited an uplifting spirit. She was a great mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, auntie and friend. Tobbie was known for her cooking; she loved to bake pies and cook collard greens. Everybody would go over to her house to eat; she always made plenty of food. Tobbie, along with three other ladies, was involved in a program though Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing that allowed them to create a program for people that lived in area to learn a trade. They formed their group and they begin to clean and paint empty apartments getting them ready for people to move in. Our momma will continue to live in all of us who loved and knew her forever.
