James Robinson Obituary

James L. Robinson, 47 years young, passed away at home October 16th after a yearlong battle with cancer.  Jim is survived by his wife and best friend Tracy, brothers David (Alisha) and Danny, nieces and nephews Jessica, T’Kira, Makenzy, Coleman and Cara (Sean), parents-in-law Mary and Gary Ferneding (other best friend), sister and brother-in-law Kevine and Ken Williams.

Jim was our researcher extraordinaire, a Trivial Pursuit master, and a lover of movies, especially Star Wars.  His favorite outing with all the furry kids who have been lucky enough to have Jim as their doting Dad over the years was the drive in movies, even in the dead of winter.

Tracy and Jim became friends while working together and she fell in love with this handsome man’s charming wit and intelligence.  Jim was proud to be a small business owner of Obi Lawn but was most proud to call Tracy his wife.  They shared 20 years together and lived out their vows of for better for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish and they did not part until Jim was taken from her.  Jim will be missed in so many indescribable ways by everyone who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him, but especially by Tracy, his constant companion and champion and his furry kids.
