Eva Jane (Bearar) Moore

Eva Jane Moore was born in February 25, 1942 in Troy, New York.  to Albert Bearor and Bethie Tucker. She moved to Cincinnati in 1968.

She was a very loving person that didn’t play when it came to her kids and family. She enjoyed reading, writing, riding horses and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching sports, her favorite teams were the Bengals and the Warriors. She did everything with compassion and love giving to the community.  She also enjoyed traveling, shopping, and getting her hair done. She worked in Hospitality Services for over forty years and worked at Good Samaritan and Fosters as a cashier. Her last joy was the Free Store which she worked up until June of 2018.

She lived at home working when she became ill in late October 2018.  It was at this time she was diagnosed will ALS.  She was often sought out as a confident for many people, as she was nonjudgmental and had a way of telling you how it was, while uplifting you at the same time. She had a smile that would melt anyone and a heart of gold. Janie was always helping others. She was a phenomenal woman that can never be replaced. She touched many lives and will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Moore; sister, Shirley; brother, William; brother-in-law, Herbert Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memories, son, Bryan David Farr (Jackie), Willie Levon Matthews, Keith Matthews (Lokita), David Kunkel, Shawnee Moore (Timyia), and Saundra Thrasher.  She also leaves behind three sisters and four brothers, one foster brother, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 other sisters, 2 sisters-in-law, best friend, Maxine Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Walker Funeral Home - Gilbert Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 11825 Pippin Road, Colerain Township, Ohio 45231.
