Aileen A (Wallers) Butler

Aileen Alberta Butler, 102, longtime resident of Covington, KY passed Saturday December 1, 2018 at Brookwood Retirement Center, Cincinnati, OH.

She was born January 11, 1916 to Roxie Williams and Ed Wallers in Williamstown, KY.

She later moved to Georgetown, KY where she met Harold Butler and they married and had 4 children, Harold Jr., Calvin, Bennie and Marlene. They moved to Covington, KY where they lived their lives together until our father Harold's death in 2004.

Our mother was a housekeeper for many years until her retirement. She then volunteered at the Northern KY Community Center, working in the clothing store. She was a longtime member of Lane Chapel CME Church which she loved. She worked with Kitchen Committee and was on the Usher Board for years until her health started to fail.

Her husband Harold, sons Harold Jr., Bennie and grandson Dwight preceded her in death.

Leaving to mourn are: son, Calvin (Marlene) Butler and daughter Marlene; grandchildren Denise Anderson, Seneca Garrett, Darvin Butler, Colleen Newsome,Lamont Butler, Mark Butler Todd Butler Jeanine Early and Peter Larkin,  12 great grandchildren, several great great children and a host of nieces, nephews and a dear friend Bev Hartso.

Our Mother was a loving caring person to everyone she knew and a wonderful understanding mother. She will be missed. She died as she lived, peacefully.

Visitation is from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, on  Friday, December 7, 2018, at the Lane Chapel CME 125 Lynn St., Covington, KY 41011, 125 Lynn St., Covington  (41011).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 7:00 pm.

Interment will follow on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:00 a,m. at Maple Grove Cemetery- Georgetown, KY, , Georgetown, Kentucky 40324.
