Larry Parks, age 72, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born Wednesday, October 22, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 3101 Riverside Drive, Cincinnati (45226) with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Larry Parks was born October 22, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, William Parks, mother, Alma Parks, and daughter, Barri S. Walker.

Larry attended Cincinnati Public School. He accepted Christ at an early age. Larry served six years in the U.S. Army 82nd Airbourne Division with an Honorable Discharge. He worked as a transit driver for Metro which he would later retire after 30 plus years of service.

Larry enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, studying the bible and spending time with his family and all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Annie Pearl Parks; three sisters, Mary Steward (James), Tecora Parks of Minnesota, Eula Owens; two brothers, William Parks (Vera) of California, Scipio Merritt; two brothers-in-law, Herman Waters and Gary Lee Waters; one son-in-law, Mark Walker; two sisters-in-law, Eloise Davis and Delores Waters; two daughters, Chilonda Mustafa and Carla D. Waters; three grandsons, William Parks (Nichol) of North Carolina, Ricardo Parks, Curtis Bosewell; one grand daughter, La'Shonda Mustafa; ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
