Angelo Dykes Obituary

Angelo Rayshawn Dykes, born July 26, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio the beloved son of Teresa Dykes-Thomas. He left this earthy life on September 27, 2015. He was preceded in death by his cousins Joshua Dykes and Kevin Leary who he grew up with and loved like his own brother. Their time on Malvern and love for their grandmother Eunice was evident whenever you visit.
Angelo attended Western Hills High School and was a forward on the Mustangs Basketball Team.
His love for sports started while attending Taft Elementary where he enjoyed being a part of the Bulls Basketball Team. He went on to attend Bloom Jr. High and was the starting quarterback. He also played basketball for the Mt. Auburn Community Center and baseball for the Mt. Auburn Cardinals.

Angelo worked for several employers over the past 11 years. His first job was at UDF where is he was loved and well known to his customers. He later went to work for Scarlet Oaks Nursing Home and again gained a new group of family and friends who adored him. He later worked for Amazon who adored him as shown from the below quote;

We will never forget what a wonderful man he was. Here at CVG3. What we all remember is that wonderful smile he had. He was always smiling no matter what m he walked in to work smiling and he left smiling. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for his daughter and the rest of his family..

Angelo lived a life of faith and was loving, humble, and caring person. He was also known for his willingness to help others especially his family. Angelo loved and cherished his daughter KaRiah and his memory will be forever in her heart.

He leaves to cherish his mother Teresa Dykes-Thomas ( Leston Jr.) and father Anthony Wayne Jordan, daughter KaRiah R. Dykes, brother Isaiah Lamar Dykes and sister Leslie Tranay Thomas. Loving grandparents Wilson & Eunice Dykes Sr. Uncle Wilson Dykes Jr (Regina) aunts; Kathy Dykes. Jacqueline Dykes, Victoria Smith ( Ernest Sr.), Earnestine Dykes, Cordet Veatch (Jason). Robin Dykes-Seaborough and Tunya Dykes-Barnes. Special cousins: Marcus Dykes, Rhonnisha Dykes, Christian Dykes, Latasha Anderson, Stacia Smith, Ernest Smith Jr., Lanita Dykes. Shauntia Edwards, Dominique Dykes, Zyair Baker, Jhunisha Brown, Ernest Dykes, Ricky Booker, Robert Harris Jr., Lamont Seaborough Jr. Adrian Dykes, best friend Mike Harvey Jr and special friends Joe Johnson and Kenyata Magette a host of cousins, great-aunts, great uncles and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Phillips Memorial C.M.E., 839 W. North Bend Road, Cincinnati (45224). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
