Herbert Walker Jr. is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. He has strong ties to the community and works tirelessly to make improvements wherever he can. Herb retired from the U. S. Postal Service and Hamilton County Community Action Agency, to start Walker Funeral Home. He saw a great need in the community and went about building a business that could help people when they need it most. His mission is to ensure that everyone experiencing loss, regardless of income, will be treated with dignity and respect – and that through Walker, they will have access to the most affordable funeral options in the state of Ohio.

Greg Brown Funeral Director

Greg Brown joined Walker Funeral Home in 2007 and has worked in various aspects of the funeral industry for 40+ years. He is well-known in the community as a preneed expert and experienced funeral director. Greg attended Akron University and is a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed life insurance agent and is especially skilled at helping families navigate insurance issues. He is an agent of Cincinnati Life, Homesteaders, and Cincinnati Equitable. Greg is community minded, friendly and caring. He is also passionate about preplanning and helping families adjust to life after the loss of a loved one.

Deborah J. Weaver

Deborah J. Weaver has been with Walker Funeral Home since 2004 and is a licensed embalmer and funeral director in the State of Ohio since 2000. She also manages the Walnut Hills location. Deborah is a Preneed Agent with Homesteader’s Life and a has an Associate’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Mortuary Science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Deborah proudly served our country in the Unites States Army Reserve until she was honorably discharged in November of 1999. She is a Veteran and Member of the American Legion Post 554, Fairfax. Deborah grew up in Madisonville, a community in Cincinnati’s east side.

Arlene Lawrence Funeral Director

Arlene Lawrence joined Walker Funeral Home in 2015 and is a licensed Funeral Director and preneed councilor. She has worked in various aspects of the funeral industry for nearly 30 years. Arlene obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and is the current President of the Buckeye State Funeral Director and Embalmers Association. She enjoys helping families and sees her work as her ministry. Arlene loves the community she serves, and appreciates her church family at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church.

Dawn White has been with Walker Funeral Home since 2008. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science and has worked in the funeral industry for 20+ years. Dawn proudly served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after 13 years. As a funeral director, Dawn’s focus is on helping families plan a memorable and personalized service for their loved ones. She is passionate when it comes to educating families about funeral planning and costs. Dawn cares tremendously about the people in the community and surrounding areas.

Louis Chisely has been part of the staff at Walker Funeral Home since 2007. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science and has worked in the funeral industry for about 15 years. Louis enjoys living in the community he serves. He is honored to have the opportunity to assist families who wish make arrangements for their loved ones or those who are interested in preplanning their own. Louis is compassionate, caring and eager to serve families when they need it most.

Martha A. Henry is a recent addition to the Walker Funeral Home staff. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. It was there, Martha was honored by her outstanding ability, with The Homer D. Leffler Award for Funeral Directing. She is also a licensed embalmer. Martha is honored to serve families in Cincinnati, and plans on educating, within the community and beyond, about the importance of preplanning. She is dedicated to funeral services because she believes that God has given this work to her for service ministry.
